IDENTIFICATION CARD

A countersigned identification card (ID) is the student’s permit to use the library. It must be presented at the control/librarian’s desk upon entering the library.

UPLB WEBMAIL ACCOUNT

The students, researchers and faculty are encouraged to have webmail account, for borrowing of books and other library materials. This is in strict compliance with UP iLib System rules concerning automated borrowing and returning of books. All library announcements on new acquisitions, availability of online journals, databases, etc.; notice of library accounts; and availability of reservation and requested library material will be sent thru this email account. To apply for a UPLB webmail account, students must present validated IDs or Form 5 while for the faculty and staff, their valid UPLB ID. To get an email account, ask the help of UPLB ITC Staff. UPLB staff are entitled to borrow three (3) books while the students are entitled to five (5) books at a time. 

Reserve books are for room use only. An overnight loan of one book is allowed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations may be made from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Students must return overnight books within the first business hour the following day.
